Kudos for the New Edition

Both Puckerings waited breathlessly to see the results of the shake-up at the Gazette.  I, for one, am very pleased by the professionalism and objectivity exhibited under the new editors.  Now we can concentrate on the news again.

Thank goodness that Puckering's sporting world has finally entered the 21st century.   The women cricketers playing for the Irregulars have consistently led the team in bowling and runs.  Shall we now move on to integrate the football team?

A New Commission for Mavis?

Whilst your recent article about The Grange pokes fun at Miss Chewart, Britain's leading lady of all things aesthetic, it is sadly ironic that perhaps the most hideous piece of misbegotten pottery ever created graces your own pages. Surely if Miss Chewart became involved you could replace the ghastly jug in your advertisement with something more suitable--dare I suggest a fine piece of Leeds creamware?
