Poisoned PenThe Poisoned Pen

Stoney Grove as a setting for "Last Taxi to Kensington," one of greatest romance novels ever written? Well, after all, it’s what the British do best and even the Pen can admit a little weakness for the costumed finery of some of our best dramas. One wonders, after the urban thuggery of some recent offerings, is the best of British drama in its recreated past? Perhaps our best television is merely a reflection of our glorious history. One can hardly imagine them re-creating the seventies with the same enthusiasm in another hundred years time. We'll leave that to the Canadians.

So which was you favourite of the period television dramatisations?
