Off-Shore Interests?

I want to know why the two leads in the church restoration, Reverend Nigel Banks and Chester Vyse, have both chosen this week to disappear off to the Caribbean. Could it be that they've absconded with the restoration funds and have no intention of completing the work?

No Plastic Tulips Here
I was appalled at the thought of film crews defacing our beloved village with plastic tulips, painted meadows and rubber trees in the name of art.  England has long prided herself as being a nation of gardeners. I say  television crews who can't raise a proper bulb should keep out!

Mrs. Nigel P. Lunton, President UPP Lady Gardeners

Editor's Note: A representative of Segovia, T.V. had this to say:

Let me go on record by firmly stating that Segovia T.V. has no intention of painting grass or planting plastic tulips in Puckering. We will do our part to support the use of local bulbs.

Mr. Edgar Edgethorpe-Smythe
Director of Communications, Segovia, T.V.
