Dear Miss Simmons and Mr. Tinsley,

As the end of my incarceration draws near, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for stealing furniture from your house. I know now that it was wrong of me to take your things. I appreciate all that you have done for my son, John White, and his grandparents. I hope that you will not think I’m out of line by asking if you will permit me to visit him at Stoney Grove when I am released.

As part of my rehabilitation they are training me on computers so I now have an email address. The world changes quickly in two years!

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jerry Anderson
