This room was a library in the 18th-century house.   In the 1920s, it was converted into a sitting room for the invalid mother of Elizabeth Kent Hall.  The current owners, Ann Simmons and Simon Tinsley, have left the room largely unfurnished whilst they try to decide how it will be used in future.
