| Well, the Pen feels a modicum of remorse over last week's
sour column, especially as due to some technical difficulties 'Last Day in September'
scored more highly than it should. Of course now that I know what the movie was about, it
was perhaps a little inappropriate for our weekly polls. Of course the point remains that
Hollywood rather put the cart before the horse on this one. Who knew? You think I research
this? One winner we did enjoy was Michael Caine who'd be welcome in Puckering any day.
Of course with his many movies, the law of averages rather suggests that some of them must
be good. Michael wrote a witty autobiography several years ago. It's clear looking at the
quality work that he's done since that he still has a lot to say.
